What Customers Say About Palm TX Handheld with Hard Case:

I'm still getting used to using the Palm TX. I was VERY happy with the shipping the seller used to get the device to me in record time. It arrived in the condition advertised. It doesn't work great on wireless but it will do. Thank you so much. I would definitely work with this seller again.

The hard case is a wonderful case but my latch eventually broke off, its just a little tiny piece of plastic. I am so glad that I bought a hard case for my palm. I did glue mine back on with a little luck but it didn't last long. After 1 1/2 years the palm is undamaged through all of my packing it around and an occasional drop. I use my palm for music when I walk/run, you cannot close the case with headphones in the palm nor can you hear the music very well if you close the case and have the volume all the way up. I was ready to take it back the first day because I couldn't get the thing to latch and unlatch until my husband showed me that you have to push the top to the right while pushing the bottom to the left. After a while you easily get the hang of it.

I do miss the very nice screen of the TX, though, as well as a few features that it had that I really liked (such as opening right back up to whatever app you were using when shutting it down). The battery is not replaceable by me. I really enjoyed the Palm TX, but it had a couple downsides. It had one weird thing that happened, if I charged it up regularly from the outlet, then attached it to the computer, it would act like the battery was shot and totally not work unless I charged it up a bit and reset it. I also don't like Palm's OS as much as Windows mobile, there's a lot less apps (free ones) for it. So I gave it to my dad and bought the iPAQ 111. Don't know what that was all about. Also, the wi-fi didn't work with our home wi-fi, but I think that it was 811b and we had x or somesuch.

interestingly since I installed a new screen it has worked fine. the letters T & I.

I use a hard case so I can carry it in my back pants pocket. I've used hard cases 10 yrs and this the first time I have cracked a screen.

The screen would often not work well with grafetti esp. This case worked well for several months but then allowed enough pressure for the screen to crack. The t/x has worked well.

The processor works a little slow for some of my larger soft ware. This was very frustrating.

the initial sales and delivery were excellent.

They also changed Graphiti to Graphiti II, which is just different enough to REALLY throw you off. The screen is not scratched, it is just unresponsive).

I had high hopes for a color screen, MP3 player, and other little bells and whistles. From the beginning, I was disappointed.

I upgraded to the Palm T/X when the processor died on my Handspring Visor Pro. The digitizer (touchscreen) began to die after about two months (and yes, I kept a screen protector on it all the time.

Amazon took more than six weeks to ship the thing (be careful with the "Free Shipping" choice on high-dollar products.you get what you pay for). It came with a hard case--the clasp on the hard case broke after about a month and was not covered under the warranty.

And it won't open PDA's or play files from Windows Media Player without purchasing expensive additional software. Long story short: I have owned Treo's, Palm III's, and Palm VIIx's in the past, and this is the most disappointing PDA I have ever purchased.
